Men's Ministry
The Men's Ministry is led by Joel Liggins. Our purpose is to spread the love of Christ through everything that we do.
Basketball & Prayer Group
All our welcome to meet us in the Fletcher Center on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. to play some half court hoops and then pray for our fellow man after the games (or we!) are done.
Fellowship
Fellowship isn't just what we do after Sunday morning worship; Acts chapter 2 and 3 shows us it was part of the daily lives of the 1st century Christians, and we try to live that out as much as we can with our in-reach activities.
Ramp Ministry
God's call for the Ramp Ministry started with fulfilling the need of one of our own in June 2021. After the 1st ramp build, more of our own membership and in the community expressed a need for ramp access to their own homes, yet they did not have the ability to complete this task themselves. From this need, the Ramp Ministry was created under the umbrella of the Benevolence Committee.
As stated by one of our men, "we show up and love each other and love the family in need, and when it's all done, a ramp appears out of His Love."
Leaf Raking
Our men know how difficult it can be to maintain a yard full of trees, especially when the leaves pile up. We're always more than willing to use rakes, tarps, and tractors to help clean them up!
Waverly Flood Outreach
When the church of Christ at Waverly put out the call for support in the August 2021 flood relief, our men were more than willing to lend their skills to answer.
